When and how did your business get started?
The business started Aug. 1, 1960 after working for another agent in the area. When the former employer relocated, the opportunity presented itself to start the business.
What is your business best known for?
We write all forms of insurance, but mostly auto and home. We offer coverage through major carriers such as Metlife Auto and Home, Safeco, Progressive, AAA, Hartford and Travelers. And we also carry smaller local companies to be a full-service insurance agency for the community.
Why did you choose the town you did to open your business?
I was born and raised in Chicago Heights.
What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know?
We have been at this location since 1985. The building history is interesting in that it has been a fast food restaurant, a realtors office and a beauty shop.
