Athlete of the Week: Rich Central's Clair Taking Her Volleyball Game to Ole Miss
Rich Central senior Nakeyta Clair has found her groove on the volleyball court and has earned a full-ride scholarship to the University of Mississippi.
Rich Central's Nakeyta Clair is one of the top girls volleyball players in the area. Her skills are so impressive that she has earned a full-ride athletic scholarship to the University of Mississippi.
This season, she has continued to build on her short, but impressive resume. In only her fourth year of playing volleyball, Clair has taken a leadership role and emerged as a player that fills up the stat sheet for the Olympians.
Clair led the way in recent Rich Central victories over Crete-Monee and Rich South. For her efforts, she is honored today at the Patch Athlete of the Week in Chicago Heights.

“After coming into Rich Central from junior high, having never picked up a volleyball, she's really proved herself,” Olympians coach Craig Marek said.
