Chicago Heights Native Dennis Kelly Drafted by Eagles

Former Marian Catholic star and Purdue offensive tackle selected as fifth-round pick in NFL draft.

The Associated Press is reporting that former Marian Catholic star and Chicago Heights native Dennis Kelly has been selected as a fifth round pick in the NFL draft by the Philadelphia Eagles.

At 6-foot-8, 381-pound Kelly is known for his aggressive play and intimidating size. He is suspected to provide depth at a position after the Eagles lost five-time Pro Bowl offensive tackle Jason Peters who tore his Achilles’ tendon in the off season.
