Hot Shot: Rich Central's Fowler Earns Athlete of the Week Honor

For the first time in a long while, the Rich Central baseball team has very high expectations. And one player who has helped raise those expectations is junior center fielder Brandon Fowler.

In the Olympians’ season-opening 12-6 win over Harlan, Fowler went 3-for-4 with two doubles and a single while driving in three runs. As a result of his great hitting, Fowler is honored as this week's Patch Athlete of the Week.

The Olympians followed their opening victory with a 3-2 win over Illiana Christian, in which Fowler played great defense in the outfield and drew a walk at the plate.
