Rich Central dropped a pair of games in a softball doubleheader at Evergreen Park when the two met recently.
While a warm sun offered some relief from the cold weather, the heat being served from Evergreen Park sent a frosty chill over toward the Rich Central softball team's dugout.
The Olympians ended up on the wrong side of a no-hitter during a 20-0 loss when the two teams met on Saturday, April 9, in Evergreen Park. And that was only the start. Evergreen Park swept to a 24-7 victory in Game 2 of the doubleheader.
But all was not lost.

“We are a very young team," Rich Central coach Helga Spoolstra said. "So, any opportunity to play against a great team like Evergreen Park gives us a chance to take our game up a notch."
