Becca Stanton homers in the bottom of the 11th inning to rally Marian Catholic past Bishop McNamara in an East Suburban Catholic Conference softball thriller.

Marian Catholic was slated to play a softball doubleheader against Bishop McNamara, but it was more like two games in one when the East Suburban Catholic Conference rivals hooked up in a recent thriller.

Marian rallied for a 3-2 11-inning victory on Wednesday, April 20. But things looked bleak for the Spartans as Amy Ziems was nicked for a pair of runs in the top of the seventh. She quickly redeemed herself, driving in two runs in the bottom of the seventh to forge a 2-2 deadlock and to keep Marian's hopes alive.

Rebecca Stanton hit a walk-off solo home run in the bottom of the 11th. And, due to the length of the first game and the cold temperatures, the second game was postponed. Check out the action.
