Bloom District 206 to Serve Up Free Breakfasts for Local Kids

Bloom Township High School District 206 will offer a free breakfast program to all children in the Bloom community four days a week from June 10 to July 18. Students will be offered breakfast at two times, with meals for local kids afterward.

Students and community children in the Bloom Township High School District 206 looking for a good breakfast during the summer will be treated to free food at Bloom High School, beginning June 10. The district, which is providing the breakfasts through the National School Lunch Program, will offer breakfast to students attending summer courses at 7:45 and 8 a.m. Community children will be offered breakfast at 8:30 a.m.

The free breakfasts are being offered to any children in the community that are 18 years old or younger, and will be offered at both Bloom and Bloom Trail high schools. The breakfasts will meet federal guidelines, according to the district's website.

The breakfast program will run from June 10 through July 18, Monday through Thursday.
