Become a Fan of the Sox: Adopt Me

Meet a domestic shorthair that lost his longtime owner.

Sadly, Sox was separated from his loving owner when she went into a nursing home, according to the South Suburban Humane Society staff.

But here's the good news: This 5-year-old domestic shorthair gets sponsored medical care from a "guardian angel," which makes him a risk-free adoption, says SSHS.

Sox is house-trained, but has never lived with anyone other than his owner, so there would be an adjustment period. He has been neutered but not declawed.
