Read or go to Jail

Did you know that if a child tests below grade level on their 3rd grade standardized reading test the state budgets to build another jail ceil?

Statistics state that 2/3 students who can not read proficiently by the end of 4th grade end up in jail or on welfare.  85 percent of all juveniles who interface with the juvenile court system are functionally illiterate. One child in four grows up not knowing how to read.  Literacy is learned. Illiteracy is passed along by parents who cannot read or write.  Parents help begin building Legacies of Excellence within your families by giving your child an educational foundation that keeps on giving a Foundations 4 adVANCEment education.
