USG Debuts 'Earth and Sky' and More: This Week in Chicago Heights

Wednesday

Earth and Sky’ Exhibit Debuts at Union Street Gallery: “The six artists of earth and sky … have long been inspired by nature, and dedicated to creating substantial bodies of images of woods, prairies and fields, mountains, lakes and streams, individual plant forms and long sky vistas.”

FUSED at USG: "FUSED will feature 31 encaustic works of art by select members of Fused Chicago, a Midwestern encaustic artists group.  Art on exhibit will include painting, mixed media pieces, and sculpture."

Mommy Date Night @ Mitchell's Soda Shop: “Moms - it's your turn! Get out of the house with your progeny - forget about the dishes and homework, take a moment to slow down and come and have a big hot fudge sundae while you connect with the kids.”  

Thursday

Senior Community Lunch Program at Glenwoodie Golf Club: "Ring in the New Year with us and the Pete Relli Trio. Tickets must be purchased in advance."

Best Buddies Pet Food Pantry - Pet Food Drive (Day 1)“Pet items needed: any new dog & cat food, dog biscuits, cat treats, new/gently used collars, plastic grocery bags, & pet food coupons.”
