Initially, the Freshman-Sophomore Division of Bloom High School, Bloom Trail got its name in 1976, when it became the second four-year high school in District 206. The two schools share sports teams and often work together to promote events in the district. Trail also keeps almost the same amount of students as Bloom. Joseph Schimmelis is the principal of Bloom Trail.
