Old Casey: Adopt Me!

This week’s featured pet is Casey, a six year old cocker spaniel and poodle mix.

Meet Casey.  As far as shelter pets go, he's on the older end of the spectrum. But that’s all the reason more to give this distinguished six-year-old cocker spaniel some much needed love and attention. Casey has already been neutered and is ready to go home with his new family now. To learn more about Casey or other dogs available for adoption, visit the South Suburban Humane Society (SSHS) adoption page. PLEASE VISIT SSHS IN THE PATCH PLACES DIRECTORY

A tortoiseshell short-hair cat that will watch TV with you, Kaylee could use a forever home this winter.

Meet Kaylee. She's a 3-year-old domestic short-hair mix with a long black tail, who serves as a wonderful lap warmer, according to South Suburban Humane Society staff. Kaylee lost her home when her owner became ill and was unable to care for her. Thanks to a friendship with her cage-mate at the shelter, it appears Kaylee gets along well with other cats. Kaylee isn't needy or attention-starved but can be affectionate toward people, according to SSHS staff. Kaylee has been spayed.
