Elderly Heights Man Robbed While Checking Mail
The man sustained minor injuries after attempting to chase down the robbers.
A Chicago Heights senior citizen got to unwelcome visitor wile he was checking his mail in the first block of Olympia Village on Monday, Nov. 5. The 79-year-old man told police he was getting his mail when a man walked into the building and said, "Hey, give us some money." The victim turned around and saw a second man holding the door open for the thief, who fled out the door.
