Heights Resident De'Borah Garner's Fate Could be Decided by 'The Voice' Viewers

After a lively performance of Pink's "Who Knew" impressed the judges, Garner's future on the show could be determined by the viewers.

De'Borah Garner turned heads again as she leaped around the stage, belting out lyrics from Pink's "Who Knew" Wednesday evening. The goal of the night was to either impress America or impress her coach, Christina Aguilera, as viewers will vote two people from each team into the next round and each coach will save a third. If Aguilera's reaction to Garner's wildly energetic performance is any indicator, the singer has at least made a lasting impression. Bloom High School Goes Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness

Staff donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure and donned pink for a day in October.

Less than two weeks ago, the halls of Bloom High School were full of pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Every October for the past eight years, Bloom staff has donated money to Susan G. Komen for the Cure in exchange for permission to break the school's dress code and wear jeans for a day. This year, the big day was Wednesday, Oct. 3. Staff members aren't the only Trojans allowed to participate in "Pink Day." The event has been such a success the student council turned it into one of Bloom's homecoming spirit days, with more than 90 percent of the students taking part.  Some Bloom staff members are taking a few extra steps to support breast cancer awareness.
