Drunk at Intersections and Urinating on Lincoln Highway: Crimes of the Week

FRIDAY, JAN. 11 On Jan. 11, An employee at Dunkin' Donuts on 14th Street called police and said a man was sleeping inside the business. When police arrived the man had already left the building, according to the report. Police then saw the man standing about five feet away from Lincoln Highway with the front of his pants down, urinating towards traffic, according to the report. Munoz, 29, of the 300 block of West 15th Place, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after he sped through multiple intersections, ignoring stop signs with police pursuing him, according to the report. Heights Man's Dog Stolen from Backyard: Blotter Roundup

SUNDAY, OCT. 14 A 20-year-old Markham man told police he was walking on east on 16th Place near Thom Street when he saw a white vehicle drive past him. The man said he then passed a man, he knows only as "Tone," according to the report. The man said he felt the presence of someone behind him and turned around to see a man swinging a baseball bat at him. The batter missed his mark but followed the man to a residence in the 1600 block of Thom Street. When police arrived, they were unable to locate the attacker, according to the report.
