Illinois Tollway Now has a Webcam to Show Road Conditions
Illinois Tollway webcams let you glimpse road conditions in the Chicago Heights area before you walk out the door.
The Illinois Tollway looped 15 traffic feeds into its website so you can see conditions on the main arteries around Chicago Heights before you ever get on the road. According to the Illinois Tollway website, feeds from 15 traffic camera locations, including I-294, are now accessible to the public through the Tollway's homepage. A bird's eye view of traffic conditions features three feeds on the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90), eight on the Tri-State Tollway (I-94/I-294), two on the Veterans Memorial Tollway (I-355) and two on the Reagan Memorial Tollway (I-88).
