Angry Cigar Smoker Assaults Gas Station Clerk and Candy Rack: Police
The man and his friend jumped over the counter at the gas station and threatened to beat the clerk, according to the police report.
A gas station clerk saw a candy rack get attacked and almost shared its fate after he gave a customer some bad news. On Dec. 17, a man went into Mobil Gas, located at 431 W. 14th St., and asked for a certain type of cigar. The angry smoker then went out to the vehicle he arrived in, a 1998 gold Pontiac. The clerk went out after him and wrote down the man's license plate number, according to the report.
