Prairie State Names New Vice President of Student Affairs and Dean of Students
The president of Prairie State says the new administrator "clearly demonstrated the qualifications necessary to successfully fill the role."
Prairie State College recently named Gregory A. Thomas vice president of student affairs and dean of students. In that role, he is the chief student services and student life officer of the college. As a member of the President’s Cabinet, Thomas will provide executive leadership, strategic planning, administrative direction, operational, fiscal, and human resource management, as well as evaluation in the areas of enrollment services, financial aid, counseling and advising, student recruitment, student life and student recognition, veterans’ affairs, child care services, diversity programs, and physical education and athletics.
