Eight suspects were arrested on the scene in the 1500 block of East 142nd Street, including six who fled to the rafters as officers arrested the first two, according to the report. Cook County sheriff's police received a tip about the fights, and officers on the scene witnessed the scenario before moving in to apprehend suspects. The dogs showed "signs of improper care, abuse and indications of dog-fighting," according to a statement from TaQuoya Kennedy, spokesperson for Dolton.
