ReplyChicago Heights loves to stockpile vacant lots. At least they should let them go back to prairie grass and call them historic sites.

ReplyHer form of government is the same as Obamas, promise them anything but give them only what you want them to have. They have the same attitude, everything is on a need to know basis and they decide just what it is we need to know. Thank God that they are here to protect us from ourselves because we just aren't smart enough to know or meet the all powerful Oz. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. I'm sure that Winston Wolf will read this and answer with a nicely written comment singing the praises of Obama,Preckwinckle and Gonzalez , thereby showing me the error of my ways.

ReplyI have a great idea, how about another vacant lot? we seem to be very good at buying property, tearing down the buildings and grading them flat. Or like Ebel's, just letting it sit fallow after beating the drum about how wonderful this is going to be after we buy it with money we don't have to spare, or maybe the beautifully developed industrial park that is generating all of those tax dollars for the city. It seems that the track record is less than stellar for this cities administration. Oh wait, we did get the new Alex Lopez Memorial Park.

ReplyEvery day we read about another school cutting back on sports and PE activities and then Michelle has to spend millions of our dollars traveling around the country trying to convince everybody that we need to spend money from another top heavy government agency to get kids to exercise more. Does anybody remember intra mural activities that were part of every school until govenment decided to cut corners and save money?

ReplyI think that if you were to combine the IQ of every politician in Crook County, you could not hit triple digits. I agree with Bob, the answer to every problem in this county is to raise taxes. What a bunch of total morons we have running this county, before long you're going to have to have a passport to get into Indiana and Wisconsin becauyse everyone will be buying everything they need there to avoid the taxes here and I'm sure that the answer to reduced revenues wqill be to RAISE TAXES yet again.

I really don't know how anyone else feels but I am totally bored reading the pap and drivel that Butch writes. 1) it is totally incoherent 2) it's the same thing every time he writes something and 3) his mindless cliches and name calling are boring. From what I've seen of his writing, his gene pool is apparently more shallow than a puddle on the sidewalk after a light rain. I wish someone would make sure he is getting a correct dosage of his medications.
