As the founder of W.I.M.P. (Wisdom Is Misunderstood Power) Wear Phations, Inc., an Apparel Company with a motivational twist that targets the youth and young adults. One of his passions is helping youth tap into their hidden potential. He also conducts a series of workshops and seminars titled “Being a W.I.M.P. isn’t Easy” that focuses on leadership, self confidence and acceptance. 

Heavily involved with the regional collaborations of community based organizations that are providing essential health and human services to children, individuals and families in the Chicago southland. In 2011, Wendell coordinated several town hall meetings in the southland to help promote outreach efforts of the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS).

For 2011 and 2012, Wendell will Chair the Annual Education Conference and Expo for the Ministers Conference of South Cook County. He also serves as a board member for the Union Street Gallery and Chicago Heights Rotary Club.

Graduate of Rich Central '96 and alumnus of Iowa State University.

Hi Wedell,

I am working on a feature film that is helping a great cause as well as offering people the opportunity to get involved
