Football: Bloom Township Blazing Trojans 2013 Schedule Released

The Blazing Trojans open the season at home against Thornwood, before taking on 5A playoff qualifier Lincoln-Way West in week two.

Snap up those chinstraps, football season is just around right end (corner for you non-football fans) and the IHSA recently released the Bloom Township Blazing Trojans football 2013–2014 football schedule. Last year, the Blazing Trojans finished 6-4 and fell in the first round of the IHSA playoffs to Simeon, 13-10.

This year, the squad opens the season at home against Thornwood, before taking on 5A playoff qualifier Lincoln-Way West in week two.

The Blazing Trojans get into the meat of their Southland Conference schedule in starting in week five, against Rich Central at home. The team will then rattle off four consecutive games against conference foes, including a game against IHSA 6A State Champion Crete-Monee.

The team will wrap the season with a home game against 6A playoff qualifier Glendbard South.
