TRiO Junior STEM EXPO Conference for Middle School Students Scheduled Nov. 14 at PSC

  • Prairie State College (PSC) is hosting the first Junior STEM EXPO conference from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 14, on the PSC main campus, located at 202 S. Halsted St. in Chicago Heights.
  • The conference is organized by the TRiO Talent Search program at PSC, and is intended to promote science and math for local middle school students.
  • Presentations will be made by the University of Illinois Extension Program, the University of Illinois Chicago National Society of Black Engineers, PSC mathematics and science departments, and the Bloom Trail High School Science Club.
  • “This conference will provide professionally-conducted sessions in career fields expected to be in high demand in the future,” said Jason Thomas, director of the TRiO program at PSC.
