Heights Biz Featured on 'Kitchen Crashers'

Local business owner Mike Ferry helps transform a newlywed's kitchen on national television.

Chicago Heights based Complete Construction Resources Inc. owner, Mike Ferry, was recently featured in the popular DIY Network television show, Kitchen Crashers.

"It was pretty cool," Ferry said. "I got to see behind the scenes of TV production."
The kitchen he remodeled for the episode "Happily Ever After Kitchen" is located in Elmhurst. Future shoots in Chicago and Skokie are also planned.

Locally, Ferry's company has worked on such projects as the Chicago Heights Police Department's 911 tower, as seen in the photo above. Ferry also made news a couple weeks ago when he teamed up with J & J Painting and Restoration owner Jared Pryszcz to collect supplies for the victims of Illinois' recent tornados.

The next airings of the episode "Happily Ever After Kitchen" will be on Jan. 6 at 7 p.m. and 2 a.m.
